BRONZE: 4th Sol Cruz Memorial Cup

    This event was co-sponsored by Tita Guia (lunch for the participants, P300 NBS gift check and chess mats with special design) and me (medals, arbiter's fee, and rent of clocks) to commemorate the 4th death anniversary of Daddy.

    This was a 5-round Swiss with IA/NM Elias Lao as arbiter. After 5 rounds of play, tied with identical 4 points a piece were Philip of Magsaysay HS, JC of Ateneo and Rhal Jr of La Salle. And after the tie break was applied the gold went to Philip, silver to JC and bronze to Rhal.

    This is another good showing for Rhal and he was able to beat Philip in their encounter.
