    On 5... Nbd7
Another option is developing first Black's K-side with automatic moves Be7 or Bd6 and O-O.

    On 11... c4
IN THE FIRST PLACE 11... c4 IS NOT THE BEST IDEA IN BATTLING AGAINST A TYPICAL LONDON SYSTEM SET - UP OF WHITE.

LOOK AT THE PAWN TRIANGLE (c3 d4 and e3). PUSHING BLACK'S c-PAWN TO c4 ONLY ALLOWS WHITE TO PLAN FOR AN e4 ADVANCE.

IF BLACK'S PAWN IS RETAINED ON c5, THEN IT WILL BE QUITE HARDER FOR WHITE TO PUSH WITH e4.

HENCE, IF BLACK CONTINUES WITH c4, ULTIMATELY HE HAS TO ADVANCE THE QUEENSIDE WITH PAWN ROLLER MOVES b5, a5 AND b4.

BUT THE BEST WAY TO BREAK PAWN CHAINS IS TO BREAK WITH THE PAWN NEAREST YOU (ON d4 PAWN).

ANOTHER REASON NOT TO CHOOSE 11...c4 IS THAT BLACK IS ONLY IMPRISONING HIS LIGHT COLORED BISHOP ON b7

WITH HIS PAWNS ON SIMILAR LIGHT COLORED SQUARES.
