    Though 2.d4 is theoretically correct, Rhal should simply play 2. Nc3 instead and aims for a Sicilian Grand Prix set-up which is in his repertoire.

    Rhal's 11 h3 is a minor mistake, it gives up the B for a N for nothing. But the middle game position is still equal.

    If I am not mistaken, this is Rhal's 3rd loss vs Abuzo of FEU; Shell Tuguegarao 2011, 1st Saturday 2012 and this.

    The good part is he has a better game here.
