Rhal's 14... e5 weakens his center, particularly the d5 square which White can occupy with a N and making his d6 pawn a backward pawn. Houdini recommends 14... Bc8, then 15... g6.
ReplyDeleteOn JC's 15.f5, better is 15.Nd5, with the advantage.
Rhal's 15... g6 is a blunder. The best is 15... d5, striking at the center and equalizing.
