Balita: St. Martin de Porres Cup

    This is Corpin's second championship on Meralco Chess Club. The first was the Leonardo Javier Sr Memorial Cup last August. He is QC HS Division Champ which sent him to the Palarong NCR Finals and has already won a few titles from minor tournaments - National Book Store 15-Under, Xavier HS Division, and Magsaysay Kiddies. He is a graduating student of Roces Science and Technology HS in Quezon City.

    Meralco Chess Club will be supporting his and the other talented kids from various public schools' ambition of going to college through chess scholarship. Chess will be their ticket to a brighter future, dahil sa Meralco maliwanag ang buhay.
