This victory over Gino Cabual of Paranaque City is a milestone in Rhal's chess career for several reasons. First, this is his first vs a veteran kiddy chess player and Cabual came here fresh from his 3rd Place finish at the National Age Group 14-Under held in Pangasinan. Second, this win set his longest winning streak of 5 wins in a row. Third, this is his first appearance at Board #1 in a Shell tournament.
ReplyDeleteAnd fourth, which is just awesome, is that the moves of this game and the others were recalled by Rhal after the day's work as we were having a late afternoon snack!
ReplyDeleteThis uncanny abilty is a newly developed talent!
