Rhal's 5.5 points in 9 games placed him at 78th place,after the tie break was applied. He was actually tied at 59th to 88th place.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very big improvement on his 162nd place finish in the same leg last year.
In 2009, he trailed fellow LSGH players Ise Nuestro, Nikko Dionisio and Tim dela Cruz by half point. But now, he is ahead by at least half point.
In 2009, he lost to and trailed Jesca Docena, the RP 8 Under Champion and representative to the Vietnam ASEAN Age Group, also by half a point. Today, he is not only tied with her at 5.5 but managed to beat her, though in a different tournament - PACE Kiddies.
In 2009, he is tied with fellow MERALCO Jrs Pia Casiano and a half point below Jefferson Saltorio. This 2010, he is 2 points ahead of Pia and half point ahead of Jefferson.

Rhal has won over a trio of 6.5 pointers before: Fulcher in El Bohemio 2009, MArcos in PRADA 2009, and Presente in Angpin Cup 2010.

ReplyDeleteIn Aug and Sept 2010, Rhal has beaten fellow 5.5 pointers Mae Sierra in FLAMES Rising Stars Division and John Serban in San Lorenzo Ruiz Cup.
