Result: 1/2-1/2
This is Rhal's 4th draw against a titled player:
ReplyDelete1 NM Vasquez in July 2009
2 GM Antonio in Aug 2009
3 NM Maga in March 2010
But of course, these are in simuls where masters are generally generous especially to kiddies in order to give them motivation.
MERALCO Chess Club is holding weekly workshops for children of employees this summer. The 3rd session has National Master Efren Bagamasbad for instructor. The session is divided into four parts; lecture on basic opening principles, simul, mini-tournament and analysis of games and problem solving exercises.
ReplyDeleteThis is part of the 12-board simul where Rhal is the only one to score.

ReplyDeleteThis is Rhal's 5th draw. Ang una pala ay sa simul ni NM Nelson Villanueva.
