Jay of Security made the Final 4 of this event by defeating Jacqui Ynot in the play-offs for the 4th spot. But in the 1 vs 4 semis, #1 was NM Gerry and Jay lost but eventually finished 3rd by beating Ricky Tan in the battle for 3rd.

Jay later obtained draws with NM Maga and GM Torre in a simul.
